What is a plug-in hybrid?

A plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) is a great option for someone who wants a piece of the electric car action but isn’t quite ready to commit to buying a pure EV. They offer the zero-emission benefits of electric cars on shorter journeys, but with the convenience and quick refuelling of a petrol or diesel engine for longer journeys.

    Attractive alloys are part of the A8 L TFSI e’s package: a 19” 5-arm turbine design in contrast grey is standard, while larger, 20” alloy wheels from the S line trim or 21" wheels come as standard on the Vorsprung trim.
