Audi fully electric (e-tron) and plug-in hybrid (TFSI e) customers can now benefit from the OVO Energy tariff, with which Charge Anytime gives you access to a smart charging rate of 7p/kwh{ft_electric-price-mile-estimate} any time you charge your EV. This tariff may help reduce the cost of ownership of an electric vehicle. Also you could benefit from up to 10,000 free miles of charging{ft_ovo-free-miles-charging} when you purchase a new fully electric Audi and switch to OVO Energy with the Charge Anytime tariff bolt on.

The lifespan depends on how the battery is used and the conditions it is used in. Fully electric drivers can also influence the lifespan of a battery. For example, AC charging is often better for batteries than DC rapid charging. When using DC chargers, charging the battery up to just 80% instead of 100% can help protect its lifespan. You can set charging targets via the MMI. For longer journeys, we recommend a charging target of 100%, as this generates the longest range. All Audi electric car batteries come with an 8 year/100,000 mile warranty, whichever comes first. The warranty for the high-voltage battery shall be void if any defects have resulted from improper use, handling or maintenance of the battery. Audi offers battery health checks and can test the capacity and state of health (SOH) of your electric car’s high voltage battery. Please contact your Audi Centre for more information.
