  • Redefining the Saloon

    The redesigned boot lid opens with the rear window, making access to the luggage compartment considerably easier and the boot more functional.

  • Sporty details

    At the front, the wide single frame grille is flanked by aerodynamically shaped air inlets. Flared wheel arches add a sporty touch. Sport styling comes as standard with aluminium window trims. Edition 1 adds black styling details throughout the exterior.

  • Iconic lighting ahead

    Audi’s attractive LED headlights come as standard; as well as a rear light strip with dynamic indicators, high beam assist and a rhombus projection light in the exterior mirrors

  • Wheels in motion

    Alluring 18” 5 twin spoke design alloys are part of the A5 Saloon's appeal. Larger 20" Audi Sport alloys come with Edition 1, as well as front and rear brake calipers in red.

The newly designed interior of the A5 is centred on innovation and user-experience. The ‘softwrap’ cocoons the interior, extending seamlessly from the doors to the digital stage, on which the all new infotainment screens sit.

    In addition to a generous 445 litres of boot space with electric opening and closing, the A5 Saloon has a split folding rear seat bench and a centre armrest with cupholders.

    Ambient LED lighting bathes the interior in an atmospheric light with 30 colours to choose from. The S line trim also features a flat top and bottom leather sport steering wheel with grips in perforated leather.

    Heated seats at the front provide extra comfort and 3-zone electronic climate control offers individually adjustable temperature areas for the driver and passengers.

Experience the new digital interior on a sharp, full colour 11.9” digital Audi virtual cockpit display and 14.5” MMI display. A further 10.9” display is standard on Edition 1 for passengers to enjoy immersive entertainment. The dynamic privacy mode automatically activates to avoid distracting the driver.

  • 3The progressive MHEV plus system is based on a 48V electrical system and supplements conventional TFSI and TDI engines. The powertrain generator and an additional 48V lithium ion phosphate battery support are designed to support the combustion engine to enable partially electric driving over short distances (at moderate speeds, in city traffic) and for slow manoeuvring and parking. The powertrain generator also has a boost function that can temporarily deliver an electrical output of up to 18kW to the combustion engine (when fully charged through energy recuperation) supporting acceleration and agility. As with all MHEV systems, the combustion engine remains the primary power source.
